Instructions for use
orp-200 can test orp value and temperature
Measure orp:
(1) Take off the cap
(2) Press the on/off key
(3) Put the orp-200 pen into the test solution
(4) Gently shake the orp test pen to make it fully contact with the solution to be tested, and do not collide
(5) The Orp test pen will display the value immediately, put the pen into the test liquid and wait for the value to stabilize, and the correct value will be displayed within 30 seconds. (Special: the value of the orp test pen fluctuates or is unstable is a normal phenomenon)
(6) Press the hold key to lock the value, which can be recorded and read outside the solution to be tested, and continue to press the hold key to unlock the value
(7) Press the on/off key to turn off the orp pen
(8) Gently shake the excess water on the pen, rinse with distilled or deionized water, and cover the cap
measure temperature
In the test mode, the temperature value and the orp value are displayed on the LCD panel simultaneously, but it is not displayed in the calibration mode. The value defaults to Celsius.
(1) Take off the cap
(2) Press the on/off key
(3) The temperature value will be displayed on the LCD screen. (Except for calibration mode)
(4) Press the temp/cal key to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit, and vice versa
(5) Put the orp pen into the test solution
(6) The temperature value will change accordingly, (except at room temperature)
(7) Press the on/off key to turn off the orp pen
(8) Gently shake the excess water on the pen, rinse with distilled or deionized water, and cover the cap
Replacement battery
When a flashing battery symbol appears on the orp pen, please replace the battery immediately. The method is as follows
(1) Open the top cover
(2) Remove the 3 batteries from the orp pen
(3) Install the battery according to the chart in the battery box. This pen uses a 357A battery
(4) Screw the battery port
Maintenance of Orp test pen
(1) Never touch the sensor
(2) Wipe with a soft cloth dipped in neutral soapy water or alcohol
(3) Clean the sensor, rinse it in a buffer solution with a pH of 7, and pat it with a piece of soft tissue paper. Never wipe it with tissue paper or other things.
(4) If scratches are found on the sensor, it needs to be replaced
(5) If the sensor is stained with dirt, it can be soaked in distilled water or a buffer solution of pH 7 for 2 hours. If the reading of the instrument is inaccurate or the performance is unstable, please contact the manufacturer in time to replace the sensor
(6) In order to better maintain the sensor, clean the sensor after each use
Sensor replacement
If your sensor is damaged, you can buy a new sensor. The method of replacing the sensor is as follows
(1) Unscrew the sealing ring of the sensor counterclockwise
(2) Gently remove the sensor from the pen
(3) Gently install the new sensor on the pen, make sure it has been accurately connected in the groove, do not use brute force
(4) Determine the sensor corresponding to the sealing ring
(5) Tighten the pen holder clockwise
calibration
Orp-200 has been calibrated by the manufacturer with an orp of 200mv buffer solution. Although it is suitable for most industries, it may be necessary to recalibrate to obtain a more accurate value. In the manufacturing industry, the buffer solution of orp will be changed. For better application, the buffer solution of orp-200 can be recalibrated to meet your special needs.
(1) Press the on/off key to turn on the orp test pen
(2) Put the pen into a buffer solution with a known orp value of 80mv-600mv, gently shake the orp pen for about 30 seconds, during this period the reading will change, and the reading will also change slightly after 30 seconds. This is normal.
(3) Press and hold the temp/cal key, the image of cal appears in the temperature display bar
(4) The orp pen will automatically display a range of the pH value of the solution
(5) Change the reading according to the orp value of the buffer. For example, if the orp value of the buffer is 200, increase or decrease the reading until it becomes 200mv, increase the orp value and press the (temp/cal) key, and decrease the value and press the (hold) key
If the correction value reaches the maximum or minimum range (about plus or minus 100mv), the LCD will display the icon of the minimum value|------------or the icon of the maximum value-------- -|This only appears in the calibration range of the solution. When cal no longer flashes, it means it is in the center of the calibration range.
(6) After calibration, press and hold temp/cal, and the LCD panel will switch to calibration mode
(7) Your orp pen has been recalibrated
