Water is the source of life. my country has very few water resources per capita, and this limited water resources are constantly being seriously threatened by the deterioration of water quality and the destruction of the water ecosystem. All kinds of production wastewater and domestic sewage are directly discharged without reaching the standards. In the water body, it has caused great harm to the surface water source, and the water quality of the water source has dropped sharply. There are many types of pollutants in water sources, including inorganic poisons and organic harmful substances. Organic pollutants can be divided into two types: natural organic matter (NOM) and synthetic pollutants (SOC). NOM includes humus, microbial secretions, and dissolved animal tissues. And animal waste, etc., and SOC is mostly toxic organic pollutants, including tertiary organic pollutants, which are difficult to remove. On the other hand, conventional treatment processes have certain difficulties in reducing treatment costs, lowering the turbidity of the produced water, and reducing disinfection by-products in the water. In order to meet the current and future stricter water quality requirements, it is a general trend that microfiltration and ultrafiltration technologies are used in drinking water treatment.
When microfiltration or ultrafiltration is used for fine (polishing) treatment of water, its ability to remove fine colloids and microorganisms in water is much higher than that of traditional water treatment methods (sedimentation, filtration and chemical disinfection) and has no side effects. The ability to remove soluble harmful substances is limited. When microfiltration or ultrafiltration is combined with pre-carbon adsorption (or ozone activated carbon), it can effectively remove fine colloids and microorganisms while effectively removing the removal of soluble harmful substances in the water, solving the problem of biological penetration and extending the service life of the membrane. The effluent quality is excellent.
Microfiltration and ultrafiltration have a good effect on removing suspended matter, turbidity, bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms in water, which is unmatched by conventional treatment and other advanced treatments. In the past, it was not suitable to be used in urban water plants due to price reasons. In recent years, due to the progress of membrane technology, the price has dropped significantly. It has a wide range of application prospects in drinking water treatment. It is an inevitable trend to replace conventional treatment. Among them, submerged systems can be used To build a new water plant or modify an existing water plant, put the membrane directly into the clarification tank or sand filter tank.
